When the 7 members of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood first met at the home of John Everett Millais in 1848, little did they know that this group of friends would not only influence the Victorian Age but that their works and designs would still be bought in the twenty-first century.
Each CD Rom in the series has an Introduction to the History of the Pre-Raphaelite Movement, as well as a comprehensive timeline which sets the movement in its Victorian context and looks at developments which lead to the Aesthetic Movement, the Classical Revival and finally to Romanticism. In addition, each title carries a background history to the life of the artist and detailed study of five works by the artist under consideration. Please note that while titles exist within a series, each CD Rom provides an individual study in its own right.
